The Email Compliance Manager delivers email compliance and categorization capabilities to Lotus Notes mail. There are three main components: Categorization, Archiving and Reporting. Customers can purchase one or all of these components.
Categorization
When Notes mail is sent or received, it can be automatically or manually categorized, based on the user’s roles and redefined preferences. Categories can comply with regulatory requirements and/or archiving settings.Archiving
Mail is stored in a repository depending on the categorization contained in the email. The archive format can be Lotus Notes, the aforementioned NXF format, a supported Notes Archiving format form EMC. HP or others (I’m working with them on partnerships), or RDBMS.Reporting
Reporting can be fulfilled with predefined reports based on existing format, or customized.
The Domino Design Minder audits and manages Lotus Notes application template design and updates, as well as enforces compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. It quickly and easily reviews Notes design templates on enterprise servers and reports, Among other things:
-How many Notes applications use templates
-If application replicas are using different templates or no template
-Templates not associated with any Notes application
Users can also automatically resolve template issues by removing unused templates, updating template references, and/or by generating and archiving templates. The Template Archive can be used to manage application design and updates, as well as enforce compliance with industry standards, such as enterprise Software Configuration Management (SCM).
